A Dangerous Game

It’s no secret that I consider myself to be not so good at relationships. If I make it a few months, it’s something. That’s why I post ads on CL. It’s (usually) quick, easy and I get what I want. In fact, here’s the ad that attracted Tex:

I’m a cute and sassy 30-something looking for a man who appreciates a woman’s curves. I’m a white female, brown hair/eyes. Think you have what it takes to satisfy me? Not looking for anything serious, but if we connect and enjoy each other’s company, why not? 

As y’all might recall, I’ve been out with him 5 times, including actual dates, and the furthest we’ve gone is oral. We were going to hang out but he called me a while ago to tell me that he picked up an extra shift at work so he wouldn’t be around tonight until late. I was in a coffeeshop, reading, so I didn’t take the call. I haven’t called him back either. 

Here’s the thing: This was supposed to be simple. I was supposed to get laid. I wasn’t supposed to meet someone I liked as a friend, too. As Lauren said the other day, I’m taking the “casual” out of “casual encounters.” :-p

So here’s the reason why this is a dangerous game AND why I’m bad at relationships … Viva Viagra was IMing me yesterday; last night I texted him, “I spy a pretty red car …” (he had his vintage sportscar parked in the lot). He replied that he was up north getting his truck so he could race the car this weekend. I asked when I was going to get to go for a ride in it … maybe next weekend, he said.

Why do I do shit like that? I mean, Tex isn’t my boyfriend but Viva Viagra isn’t someone that I want around either. I just like the attention … yeah, I’m an attention whore … lol.
